Crediflow AI raises a £1.5m seed round led by PXN Ventures to automate spreading and credit-memo drafting for commercial lenders
Manchester-based Crediflow AI secured £1.5 million in seed funding led by PXN Ventures through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, with Haatch and angel investors participating. The company says its platform extracts and standardises figures from borrower accounts (financial spreading), analyses cash flow and drafts the credit committee memo in each customer's format, cutting data aggregation that can take up to several days to 10 to 30 minutes (company-reported). It says hundreds of credit professionals across the UK, Europe and the US use it, and the money will fund engineering and product hires.
Why it matters for deal teams: Spreading and memo drafting are the most crowded AI category in lending; seed money flowing to smaller-ticket lender tools is a reminder to judge vendors on traceability of each spread figure, not on speed claims.
