TD Bank U.S. launches Credit Assist, a multi-agent tool that drafts cited first-draft commercial credit memos
TD says Credit Assist coordinates specialized AI agents across 20 to 30 deal documents to produce a cited draft of six credit memo sections, cutting first-draft preparation from up to three working days to less than 30 minutes for more than 300 credit professionals who prepare over 10,000 memos a year. TD says it was tested on 220 curated deals with input from more than 70 domain experts, and 95% of evaluated outputs passed subject-matter expert review. Credit professionals review and underwrite each draft.
Why it matters for deal teams: A large lender has published its own test set size and pass rate for agent-drafted credit memos, a useful benchmark for private-credit teams designing their own memo-drafting review step.
