S&P Global makes RatingsXpress credit ratings available to MCP-enabled AI tools through its AI Data Portal
S&P Global says RatingsXpress data, which it describes as nearly 1 million issuer and security-level ratings with outlooks, CreditWatch status and rating actions, is available through the AI Data Portal's Deterministic Retrieval. It says support in Adaptive Retrieval, for natural-language agent queries, is coming in the following weeks.
Why it matters for deal teams: Rating data an agent can pull directly makes rating-mapping and private-rating checks easier to automate. The underlying licence terms still apply.
