S&P Global adds an iLEVEL Agent, an MCP server for Copilot and Claude, and private-credit covenant monitoring to iLEVEL
S&P Global announced iLEVEL enhancements including a native iLEVEL Agent, AI-powered data ingestion and natural-language search, and an MCP server that lets customers connect iLEVEL data to AI tools such as Copilot and Claude while keeping existing access controls and permissions. It says iLEVEL supports private credit workflows including covenant monitoring against credit agreement terms, and adds tighter integration with S&P Global Private Market Valuations and connections to Capital IQ, WSO and CLM Pro.
Why it matters for deal teams: Portfolio-monitoring data is being exposed to general-purpose AI assistants through governed MCP connections, so credit teams can run covenant and valuation checks in their own AI tools without exporting data.
