Bloomberg completes its acquisition of Canoe Intelligence, the AI private-markets data platform

Bloomberg says the deal is complete. Canoe automates the collection and validation of private markets data, and for joint clients that data flows into Bloomberg PORT Enterprise. The deal was announced on 29 July 2026.

Why it matters for deal teams: Fund document data (capital calls, statements) is moving into the same terminal stack credit teams already use.
